It can do things you and I deem evil. It can be used to make us feel evil feelings. But only a feeling being like you or I can be evil.
Is it not interesting to you that we ascribe assumptions about human emotion to objects without souls? Objects which are themselves creations of our own making. It’s a phenomena sometimes referred to as objects having essence.
We aren’t just talking about robots, now, are we?
Someone once paid more than six figures for Jackie O’s double stranded pearl necklace, the one she wore during the White House years, even though they knew the pearls are fake (a fact Jackie also new well). This person took those pearls and used them as the model for a knock-off set that you could once purchase online through the JFK Presidential Library for something around $150. And people bought them under the marketing premise that they are the authentic replica.
Let’s say it a different way as to ensure that we sink all of our teeth into this.
They purchased and wear fake pearls that were fashioned after a real set of fake pearls.
Though probably not necessary, let us note that Jackie herself never saw nor wore any of the replicas purchased. They were merely a copy.
