forest-path-238887_1280There is a right way to live your life. Only you know if you’re doing it or not.

This should come as a great relief to us all. Here’s why:

We can stop complaining.

You’re the only one who can really know if you’re living your life properly. No one else can judge the things you do or the things that happen to you. The good things or the mistakes. Only you can. No judgement, no need to talk about the things you don’t plan on doing anything about. Isn’t that great?

No more wasting countless hours gnawing on Discontent’s bone. As soon as we acknowledge we have absolutely no intention of taking an action to alter our inability to savor life’s syrup, we can make our peace and move one. No need to complain because our surrender will be voluntary.

Otherwise, we’d need to actually do something about the things in our lives that aren’t stepping in line with our futures. That sounds exhausting. Turns out it’s no more exhausting than flapping your Fixodent about why things aren’t the way you want them to be. It can even put some pepper in your stepper when you choose decisive action.

If you’re not planning on doing something about it you’re either just complaining or throwing yourself a pity party with an all-you-can-eat guest list. Either way it’s not good for much. Nobody wants to join your buffet. Not if the menu is dominated by all the foods you yourself prefer not to eat.

So stop fixating via complaining and go do something that would thwart the boogie men.

I will if you will.

(I’ll do it even if you don’t. You should do the same.)
