I’m a fickle driver.

I’m a mediocre listener.

I love reading to my children before bed.

I’m a slow learner.

I think of my wife during the day more than I let on.

I’m often anxious.

I’m self-conscious about my teeth.

I’ve been meaning to wash the glass on the lantern on my back porch since we moved in two summers ago.

I still eat Ramen noodles sometimes.

I get nervous when other people’s children eat food in my living room.

I’m not the kind of person you want to let borrow a book.

I watch cars in traffic sometimes and wonder where it is we all think we’re going?

This list is taking longer to curate than you might think.

I had a conversation recently with a good friend who reminded me to give myself some grace from time to time.

You could use some, too, you know.

I say we take his advice.

By the way, I’m glad we have each other.

Just in case I haven’t said it in a while.
