Have you ever listed out your thoughts as they come to you?
“What’s going on up there, lately?”
“Um, all sorts of stuff. Do you really want to know?”
“What else am I gonna do right now?”
Okay. Here is what’s on the menu tonight:
1) I think I take too long to make decisions.
2) My new glasses have been adjusted twice now and they still don’t fit quite right. I’m starting to think they don’t want to stay on my face.
3) It was snowing yesterday and then today it was almost 60.
4) I romanticize hanging out with my family. Tonight we watched a movie. My daughter wouldn’t sit still. When it was happening I was beginning to lose my patience. Reflecting on it now it seems cute.
5) When the heat turns on in my house I have to turn the TV up. Then it’s too loud when the heat shuts off.
6) I’m wondering what you’re thinking right now reading this list.
7) I wonder how often we make something mean something when it was really just meant to mean what it means.
8) Now I’m really wondering what you’re thinking.
9) These new glasses smudge more often than my old ones. They’re closer to my eyeballs I think. When I rub my eye I brush up against the lens.
10) I’m going to get a snack when I’m finished with this. I’ll probably eat a yogurt and a protein shake.
11) I should probably drink another glass of water too. I don’t drink enough water.
12) I probably won’t be thirsty after I drink the protein shake. I’ll have to force myself to drink the water.
13) While I’m at it I should take some vitamins. My mom would glad if I did.
14) This is kind of fun.
15) I really need that snack.
“Seriously? That’s what you think about?”
“I knew you didn’t really want to know.”
