Which means you are certain to happen, until you don’t. Which isn’t entirely up to you, is it? Which shouldn’t relieve you from the obligation of persisting with purpose. Which isn’t an obligation that all acknowledge. Which doesn’t make it less of an obligation or any less universal. Which also doesn’t mean that it is either of those things. I suppose you could make a case that purpose is a false idol that is easy to pursue but difficult to possess and put to work. What will be left is the shadow of your choices.
Purpose doesn’t have to be an event. It doesn’t have to be linear. Purpose can be a goal, yes. But I think it might be better understood as a choice. A choice you make over and over until choices aren’t your thing anymore.
You will do certain things. Those things will have a certain impact. You will move on.
To a point, you are certain to happen.
