What I’ve learned in the past 14,600 days, in no particular order…

I’ve learned that being completely alone seems to be the worst thing.

I’ve learned that being a parent teaches you new levels of love.

I’ve learned there are some things you can’t explain, like love.

I’ve learned that people take baseball quite seriously.

I’ve learned that the closer you look, the stranger the universe is.

I’ve learned that there is a lot of good, and it would seem as much evil, in us.

I’ve learned that we haven’t really changed much since we started recording history.

I’ve learned that you’re more likely to do the thing you see yourself doing in your mind.

I’ve learned that what you actually choose to do is what ultimately matters.

I’ve learned that action and in-action both have consequences.

I’ve learned that you can’t take those words back.

I’ve learned that money has a dangerous gravity.

I’ve learned that it’s important to have a friend.

I’ve learned that it’s equally important to have something to aspire to.

I’ve learned that where you enter the stream has a lot to do with where you’ll go.

I’ve learned that magic happens when you decide to step up.

I’ve learned that creation is the point.

I’ve learned that it always makes you work for it.

I’ve learned that, even still, it’s worth it.
